History of the group

OT Logistics Group is the largest and the most comprehensive port operator in Poland. We are the owner of the port in Swinoujscie (OT Port Swinoujscie), ro-ro terminal in Gdynia (OT Port Gdynia) and inland ports in Wroclaw and Opole. Since 2015, the Company owns also shares in the Croatian port of Rijeka.

1946

Beginning

In Wroclaw, Polish Shipping company is formed on Odra River - one of the first logistics companies in the postwar Poland.

1992

The free market economy

Polish Shipping on Odra River is converted into a company wholly owned by the State Treasury called Odratrans S.A.

1995 - 2004

Stable development

Controlling block of shares Odratrans S.A. is submitted to 7th National Investment Fund.

2004 - 2011

Expansion

Odratrans S.A. increases its potential through a series of acquisitions – among others controlling block in Żegluga Bydgoska S.A. and German company Deutsche Binnenreederei AG. Important moves should also include the purchase of 40% shares in Commercial Port Swinoujście, and blocks in forwarding companies Rentrans Cargo Sp. o.o. and Rentrans International Spedition Sp. o.o.

2011 - 2013

Entering the Stock Exchange 2011-2013

Odratrans S.A. launches programme of bond issue through a public offering, gaining funds in the amount of 60 million PLN. The next step is to change the company name to OT Logistics S.A. and the debut on the Warsaw Stock Exchange in 2013.

2014 - 2015

Expansion of potential OT Logistics SA

The company won the position of one of the largest logistics organizations in Europe by making the purchase of 75% block of shares in the shipping company C. Hartwig Gdynia and 100% of the Baltic General Cargo Terminal Gdynia. Important events were also the acquisition of 20% shares of the company managing the largest seaport in Croatia and signing up the agreement on a 30-year of lease with the Board of the Port of Gdańsk.

2016 - today

Expansion and dynamic development

Expansion in the market of logistics services in the countries of North-South corridor. The Group has set up a company in Croatia, C.Hartwig Adria. Development of competence and greater scale of activity in the shipping containers segment by acquisition by C.Hartwig Gdynia 100% of shares of Sealand Logistics, one of lider in container fowarding in Poland. Strengthening of the Group’s offer and increase share in the domestic market of railway transport by finalizing the acquisition of STK S.A. and Kolej Bałtycka S.A.

70 years of activity behind us, and we still go forward and write the next part of our history.
